Open Art Time at Lillian Art Gallery invites artists of all ages to relax, explore, and express. Whether you're a beginner or experienced creator, the gallery becomes your studio every Thursday afternoon. Paint, draw, and create in a peaceful environment with all the materials you need.

This is not a class or a formal lesson - it’s an open studio space where creativity leads the way. Bring a friend or come solo. Families and kids are welcome.

  • LESSON OVERVIEW

    • When: Thursdays, 1:00 – 4:00 PM
    • Where: Lillian Art Gallery
    • Who: All ages welcome (recommended 5+)
    • Cost: Free to attend - materials available for purchase

    How It Works

    • Bring your own supplies or use ours! We have a variety of art materials available (Canvas & paint kits, Mixed media paper, pastels, charcoal, and more)
    • $20 material bundle includes everything you need for the day
    • Punch card available: 10 sessions for $160 (20% off)

    Walk-ins welcome. Punch cards available in person or online.

We provide high-quality supplies and a calm atmosphere where artists of all ages can feel relaxed and encouraged. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to, whether you’re new to painting or just need a creative break in your week.

No reservation required but you are able to schedule online and go ahead and purchase in advance. Just drop in between 1-4 PM on Thursdays.

Am I required to sign up ahead of time?

No - walk-ins are welcome! You can schedule your time and pay the material fees in advance here if you'd like but it's not required. Thank you!

What if I’ve never painted before?

Perfect. This is a great place to start.

Can I bring my child?

Yes! Kids are welcome, and parents can stay and create alongside them!
